Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will get new trailers later in December. He teased new footage and a final trailer.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to launch on January 29th and it was recently revealed that the development work on the game is now finished. It was originally announced back in 2013 along with Final Fantasy XV. While the latter managed to get a release in November 2016, it took Kingdom Hearts two more years of development.
Kingdom Hearts series creator Tetsuya Nomura has shared the following message on various social media platforms confirming the existence of new trailers.
“Hello everyone.
I said it would be next month, but I feel bad leaving it so open. The next trailer will be out in December.
10th: New footage
18th: Final 2018 trailer
(JST)
We’re still editing, so times are TBC.I really mean it this time, when I say see you next month!”
It will be interesting to see how this long-anticipated sequel turns out once it launches later this month. This is also reportedly the last part in the Kingdom Hearts trilogy that started all the way back on PS2. The series has received numerous spin-offs but only two mainline games were released so far.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2018.
