An alleged Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link leak has surfaced online, with a video claiming to show part of the cancelled mobile game’s opening cinematic.
The video first appeared on 4chan’s /khg/ board under the /vg/ section. The anonymous poster claims the footage originated from an in-development build that could reportedly be accessed during the game’s closed beta. The build is said to be separate from the publicly available beta files and allegedly contains additional, unreleased content.
The anonymous source further claims that some Kingdom Hearts content creators who participated in the closed beta have privately shared material from the build without making it publicly available.
The leaked cinematic represents only around one-third of the full introduction. The remaining sequence is said to feature a group of “astronauts” exploring Quadratum before the scene shifts to Scala ad Caelum, where characters including Sigurd and Brain from previous Kingdom Hearts mobile titles reportedly appear alongside a group of scientists.
Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link was originally announced as a location-based action RPG for iOS and Android that would explore the lore surrounding Scala ad Caelum. The project was officially cancelled by Square Enix in May 2025 before its planned worldwide release.
As with all unverified leaks, the reported footage and accompanying claims should be treated as rumour until confirmed by Square Enix.
