The pre-load date and download size for Neowiz Games’ upcoming soulslike game, Lies of P, have been revealed.

Lies of P is now available to pre-load on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, and the game’s download size has been revealed. The pre-load is not yet available on PS4 and PS5, however, and those who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation Network will have to wait until closer to launch in order to download it.

As mentioned above, those who have pre-ordered a digital copy of Lies of P can pre-load the game on Xbox platforms starting today on August 29, 2023. The digital pre-load should come with the latest update pre-installed, However, given that the pre-load has arrived around three weeks prior to the game’s release on September 19, 2023, it’s likely that some additional updates will be rolled out prior to launch. Meanwhile, those who pre-ordered Lies of P on PlayStation platforms will likely get the day one update with the pre-load, which begins closer to the game’s launch on September 17, 2023.

Lies of P is set to launch on September 19, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is loosely inspired from the 1883 Italian novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players take control of Pinocchio, and navigate through the city of Krat. The gameplay involves exploration as well as combat against biomechanical adversaries. Pinocchio wields an assortment of weapons including swords and axes, and can execute evasive maneuvers and defensive blocks. The character is equipped with a mechanical arm capable of being outfitted with gadgets such as a grappling hook or flamethrower.
