Marvel’s Spider-Man has been updated to version 1.19 on PS4. It adds save transfer support from PS5 and three new suits to the game.
Insomniac Games had promised an update to the game that would add save data transfer and three new suits. This update is available to download now on the PS4. The estimated file size should be less than 1 GB.
The save data transfer will be possible for those who have played the original game and want to resume their save data on the PS5. It should be given as an option in the main menu.
Currently, there are no other known changes or fixes aside from these new additions. We have verified the patch notes on the PS4 so this should be the only changelog.
Marvel’s Spider-Man was first released on the PS4 in September 2018. It was remastered and sold in a bundle with Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. The Remastered version comes with support for ray-tracing, 60 FPS, and improved visuals among other changes.
After the update, it should be able to transfer your Marvel’s Spider-Man save data to the PS4 version. If you are experiencing any issues with it, let us know in the comments below
