Mina The Hollower Launches May 29 Across Consoles and PC

by Greg Martin

Yacht Club Games has confirmed that Mina The Hollower will launch on May 29, bringing its retro-inspired action-adventure to multiple platforms at a price of $19.99.

The studio shared the announcement alongside a confirmed release date, stating, “Mina the Hollower launches May 29 for only $19.99! Prepare yourself for one of the greatest top-down adventures ever to be delivered directly to your soul for less than 20 bucks.” The game is set to arrive on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including support for both current and previous generation systems.

Originally planned for an earlier release window, the title was delayed in late 2025 to allow for additional polish. Developed by the team behind the Shovel Knight series, Mina The Hollower is presented in an 8-bit visual style reminiscent of Game Boy Color era titles.

The game follows Mina, a mouse and member of a guild focused on studying the Earth, as she explores the gothic-themed Tenebrous Isle. Gameplay centers around combat and exploration, with Mina using a whip and a burrowing ability to navigate environments, defeat enemies, and repair devices known as Spark Generators.

With its release date now finalized, Mina The Hollower is set to arrive as Yacht Club Games’ next major project, continuing the studio’s focus on retro-styled experiences with modern design sensibilities.
