The Modern Warfare 4 beta is set to receive another round of updates tomorrow, with Infinity Ward and the development team adding a new map to the rotation alongside gameplay changes and additional content.
Lithium will join the beta map rotation in the upcoming update. Players can also expect changes to weapons and attachments, further audio tuning, bug fixes and the addition of 3v3 Gunfight.
The developers confirmed that the full list of changes will be detailed in the upcoming patch notes. The update comes as the beta continues to give players an early look at Modern Warfare 4 ahead of its full release.
Developed primarily by Infinity Ward, Modern Warfare 4 focuses on grounded military combat and introduces updated systems across its campaign and multiplayer modes. The multiplayer component includes tactical gameplay features, dynamic maps and expanded loadout customisation through the updated Gunny system.
The ongoing beta is being held across two scheduled test weekends and includes a playable campaign mission called Entrenched alongside traditional multiplayer modes, 3v3 skirmishes, Ground War and the new dynamic terrain mode Kill Block.
The latest update continues the developers’ efforts to adjust the game based on beta feedback, with weapon balance, spawn behaviour and movement pacing among the areas being tuned ahead of launch.
