Ollo Store, an online retailer in Europe, has listed the MSI Claw 8 Ex AI+ gaming handheld with a major price tag.
A new listing from Italian retailer Ollo Store has revealed the retail price for the latest handheld from MSI, the Claw 8 EX AI+. With a listed price tag of €1599, the device enters the premium tier of handheld gaming PCs, combining Intel hardware with a feature-rich portable design.
For those unaware about the handheld gaming PC’s specs, the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ comes with the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, part of Intel’s newer generation of efficiency-focused chips that integrate CPU, GPU, and AI acceleration into a single SoC. It is paired with the Intel Arc 140V GPU, which supports modern rendering technologies, making it suitable for contemporary AAA games as well as AI-based upscaling solutions like XeSS.
The Claw 8 AI+ features an 8-inch IPS-level display with a 1920×1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering more vertical space than standard handhelds. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate with VRR, ensuring smoother gameplay and reduced screen tearing. With 100% sRGB coverage and 500 nits brightness, the touchscreen display is also well-equipped for media consumption and general productivity tasks.
In terms of memory and storage specs, the handheld gaming PC includes 32GB of LPDDR5x-8533 RAM, providing high bandwidth for gaming and multitasking. Storage is handled by a PCIe Gen4 SSD with capacities up to 1TB. With regards to connectivity, the device features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support. The I/O selection includes two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
Additional features include a fingerprint-enabled power button, 6-axis IMU, and vibration motor. Audio is delivered through dual 2W speakers with DTS enhancements and Hi-Res Audio support. An 80Wh battery powers the device alongside a 65W USB-C charger. Weighing 795 grams and measuring 24mm thick, it is relatively compact for the hardware it contains.
