Nanashi Uchiha is now available as a new playable character in NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS, following her introduction in the game’s Special Story Mode.
The latest update expands Nanashi’s role in the game with an original story centred around Boruto Uzumaki and a growing threat to the peace of the ninja world. Players can now take part in the story while also adding Nanashi to the playable roster.
Nanashi is presented as a mysterious figure whose troubled history has fuelled her hatred of ninjas. After being mistreated by the Uchiha clan and eventually used as a weapon of destruction, she becomes a formidable opponent for Boruto.
As Boruto confronts Nanashi, the story gradually reveals another side to the character. Boruto must protect the ninja world while coming to understand that Nanashi may not be the villain she initially appears to be.
The update also adds Ninja Battle Revived, along with a Proficiency Event that allows players to increase their proficiency at a faster rate. Special Challenges have also been introduced, giving players the opportunity to complete objectives and earn titles.
Battle balance adjustments are included as part of the update, although further details on the specific changes have not been provided.
More free content is planned for NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS. Additional online features are scheduled to arrive this winter, while another playable character is planned for release next spring.
