NBA 2K21 has been updated to version 1.02 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here are the details on this update including its patch notes.
2K Sports is releasing two consecutive updates for NBA 2K21 today. The first one is update 1.02 which is available today for PS4 and Xbox One. The second one will be update 1.03, which is reportedly planned to launch soon. No update has been given for these NBA 2K21 patches.
As for the patch notes, the official changelog on PS4 merely mentions that this update is for stability improvements and performance fixes. The download size of this update is roughly 4.6 GB on the PS4.
One of the major issues that were reported by the players was the difficulty with scoring in the new version of NBA 2K. This led to 2K Sports tweaking down the difficulty of shooting in the game for the initial few difficulty settings but kept it intact for the harder difficulty settings.
According to some reports on reddit, the following issues were supposedly fixed with this update. Mamba Forever bonus was not given to those who bought this edition and it has been fixed with the update today. Another fix is for the button shooting in Triple Threat offline for MyTeam. Lastly, there is an option to disable Pro Stick aiming in the controller settings.
NBA 2K is a yearly franchise that continues to get new and updated versions every year. 2K Sports has confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X will get an upgraded version of NBA 2K21 but it won’t be a free upgrade. The upgraded version will come at a price and will also cost more than the regular PS4 and Xbox One version.
