Neverness to Everness (NTE) Version 1.4 Part 2 launches on October 21, 2026, bringing a new playable character, a school festival story, and a musical collaboration featuring the song “God knows…”. Developer Hotta World and publisher Perfect World have also announced anniversary rewards, including 2 million Fons and a special outfit for Akane Rin.
Akane Rin joins the playable roster as a part-time guitarist at Livehouse StarSign. However, her past as an Anomaly Hunter holds secrets that players can uncover as they progress through the game. She arrives with three outfits, including the “House Special” outfit available as part of the half-year anniversary celebrations.
Players can also use Akane’s guitar while exploring Hethereau, allowing her to perform music in the open world.
The update introduces a new school festival story featuring The Whoots!!!!. Players can reunite with the band as its members prepare for another performance, including a special rendition of “God knows…”, the popular anime song. The story will continue the group’s journey while giving players an opportunity to take part in the festivities.
