Report: New Limited Edition Xbox Controller and Headset Launching Soon
Some new Limited Edition Xbox accessories, including a controller and a headset, are reportedly in the works, and being readied for release soon.
According to Twitter user billbil_kun, who is known for leaking information regarding the PlayStation Plus lineup ahead of its official announcement, Microsoft will release some new Limited Edition Xbox accessories, including a controller and a headset, sometime soon. There is no word on a concrete release date, though billbil_kun did reveal their codenames and respective prices in the US.

The leaked codename and price of the new Limited Edition controller and headset can be seen below.
- Wireless Controller – Codename Ogden – $79.99
- Wireless Headset – Codename Orren – $124.99
The same leaker had also revealed earlier that Microsoft will release a Diablo IV edition Xbox Series X console to coincide with the game’s launch.
Previously, it was also reported that a custom Xbox controller and headset themed after Bethesda’s upcoming action role-playing game, Starfield, may be in the works. During a recent episode of The XboxEra podcast, K. Asante stated on chat that he has it on authority that the leaked images of a Starfield themed Xbox controller are real, and a headset is also on the way. He added that fans should not expect a custom themed Starfield Xbox Series X.
Nick stated that there are too many little telltale signs that make him think the controller is indeed real, such as the use of the color red under the analog sticks and the inside of the battery lid stating “FOR ALL, INTO THE STARFIELD”. Microsoft has yet to confirm or deny the existence of a custom Starfield themed Xbox controller, though, given the high likelihood of it being real, an announcement is expected to happen sometime soon, leading up to the game’s release on September 6, 2023.
