NieR:Automata has received a new update on Steam, adding support for three additional languages. Released on November 6, 2026, the patch introduces Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean, expanding the language options available to PC players.
However, the update has also been associated with an unusual download size issue. The game is reportedly showing a download size of 366 GB, potentially due to a bug that incorrectly adds the full game size to each DLC. The cause has not been confirmed.
