Nintendo is launching two new Nintendo Switch 2 bundles in the coming months, pairing the console with Mario Kart World or the upcoming Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. Both packages will also include a 3-Month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership.
The Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will launch in late September for $549.99. It includes a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a digital copy of Mario Kart World and a 3-Month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership, representing a stated saving of $37.98 compared with buying the items separately.
Mario Kart World lets players race across large interconnected environments while also giving them the option to explore the world outside of races. The bundle is aimed at both existing Mario Kart players and newcomers looking to jump into the series on Nintendo Switch 2.
The second package is the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle, which will be available from October 22 for $529.99. It includes the Nintendo Switch 2 system, a digital copy of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and a 3-Month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership, with Nintendo stating that customers save $27.98 compared with purchasing the items separately.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launches exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day. The game takes players to Wuhu Island, where they can customise a Sportsmate or Mii and participate in 12 sports using motion controls.
The sports lineup includes activities such as Prop Plane, Power Cruising, Boxing, Archery, Bowling, Thumb Wrestling and Jump Rope. The game is designed around both casual activities and competitive multiplayer sessions.
Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle will be available soon through Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop and participating retailers.
Nintendo also confirmed that the standard Nintendo Switch 2 system will have a suggested retail price of $499.99 from September 1. This makes the Mario Kart World bundle $50 more than the console’s standard price, while the Sports Resort bundle costs $30 more.
Both new Nintendo Switch 2 bundles provide a way to purchase the console alongside one of Nintendo’s multiplayer-focused games, with each package also including temporary access to Nintendo Switch Online.
