Nintendo Teases New LEGO Donkey Kong Set Through Nintendo Today App

Nintendo and LEGO have teased a new Donkey Kong collaboration, with a brief announcement appearing through the Nintendo Today app.

The post, titled “Donkey Kong – Adults Welcome: LEGO® Donkey Kong™ set is Coming,” included a short 19-second teaser video. While the clip did not reveal much about the upcoming product, it confirmed that the new set is “rolling soon.”

No release date, pricing details, or images of the full set were shared as part of the announcement.

Nintendo and LEGO first partnered in 2020, launching a wide range of interactive and display-focused sets based on Nintendo franchises. The collaboration initially centered around the LEGO Super Mario line, which introduced electronic Mario figures capable of interacting with courses, enemies, and special barcode tiles through built-in sensors and sound effects.

Since then, the partnership has expanded to include larger collector-oriented products such as the LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System set, Animal Crossing-themed releases, and display models based on The Legend of Zelda.

The newly teased Donkey Kong set appears to continue the companies’ ongoing expansion of Nintendo-themed LEGO products, though additional details have yet to be announced.
