Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October 2026, with F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 joining the service from October 6. All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members until November 2.
F1 25 will be available on PS5, offering several single-player modes including Career and My Team 2.0, where players can take control of their own Formula 1 team. The game also features online racing, including a multiplayer mode in F1 World that allows groups of players to compete as a team against AI drivers.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 is the second PS5 title in October’s lineup. The extraction shooter tasks players with tracking down bosses and claiming their bounties while competing against other Hunters and dealing with dangerous monsters. Players can enter matches alone or team up with up to two other players.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 rounds out the month’s offerings on both PS5 and PS4. Players can build a four-member squad from characters collected throughout the game, customise their equipment and battle giant enemies across its voxel-based world. The game supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen multiplayer.
September’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games will remain available until October 5. Members have until then to add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes to their libraries.
October will also bring additional benefits for PlayStation Plus members, including limited-edition Spider-Man: Brand New Day avatars through Sony Pictures Core and several HorrorFest in-game packs. The latter include a Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle on October 1, a Hunt: Showdown 1896 Starter Pack on October 6 and an Overwatch 2 Dragur Reinhardt + 5 Tier Skips Pack on October 7.
