The menu can be accessed by heading over to Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy > View and Customize Your Privacy Settings. Here, you’ll find two new options under the heading “PlayStation Stars”. The first option will allow you to control who can see your PlayStation Stars level. This setting is limited to players with adult accounts on PlayStation Network in supported regions.

The second option will let you control who can see your display case. Your display case is where you can show off your collectibles to other players. This his setting is also limited to players with adult accounts on PlayStation Network in supported regions.

Previously, it was reported that the purchase of DLC or expansion packs may be counted as a full game purchase with PlayStation Stars’ leveling system. If true, this would make reaching higher levels on the reward program cheaper in comparison to purchasing a $60/$70 game, which is what essentially counts as a full game purchase by the program. However, that may not be the case, as noted by PS Stars members.

The PlayStation Stars program allows members to accumulate loyalty points. Points may be exchanged for a variety of items, including PSN wallet funds and select PlayStation Store products. Additionally, PlayStation Plus subscribers who sign up for PlayStation Stars will immediately receive points for any purchases made through the PlayStation Store.

Sony Interactive Entertainment hopes this program brings to mind past gaming memories while making players excited for the future with PlayStation: commemorating the different gaming eras, charting new paths to explore, and bringing players together for global celebrations. The console maker aims to develop the program further in the years to come.
