  • Foamstars (PS4, PS5)
  • Rollerdrome (PS4, PS5)

The latest additions to PS Plus Essential will be available to subscribers starting from Tuesday, February 6, 2023 up until Monday, March 4, 2024. PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, February 5 to add the January, 2024 lineup i.e.Nobody saves the World (PS4/PS5), A Plague Tale: Requiem (PS5), and Evil West (PS4/PS5).

For the uninitiated, Foamstars is a new 4v4 online party shooter for the PS5 from Square Enix that has you battling to foam as much of the city as you can while avoiding your opponents traps and weapons. Players will use foam to build terrain, creating slippery surfaces to surf around the arena at high speed, help defend from enemy attacks, and create vantage points to take out opponents from. They’ll have the option to select from a quirky and colorful cast of athletes and compete across multiple game modes.

Meanwhile, Rollerdrome is a unique high octane third-person shooter experience. In the brutal blood sport, Rollerdrome, players gear up for visceral combat with fluid motion set in an evocative retro-future. They can dominate with style in this intense shooter-skater hybrid, where kills grant health and nailing tricks provide ammunition.

Lastly, Steelrising is an action role-playing game set in an alternate history Paris in which the French Revolution has been suppressed by a robotic army. Players fight and explore through the streets, rooftops, neighborhoods and castles as Aegis, a mysterious automaton masterpiece. They engage in ruthless and intense fights against technological marvels that are as complex as they are unforgiving.
