Psychonauts 2 Gets New Screenshots, Runs at 4K and Optimized For Xbox Series

Psychonauts 2 will be optimized for the Xbox Series. The official store page has been updated with new screenshots while the preload size is also confirmed.

Psychonauts 2 still doesn’t have a release date but the Microsoft Store page for the game has been updated with new information including plenty of screenshots. The preload size of the game is also confirmed through the Xbox App which is around 27 GB.

Razputin Aquato, trained acrobat and powerful young psychic, has realized his life long dream of joining the international psychic espionage organization known as the Psychonauts! But these psychic super spies are in trouble. Their leader hasn’t been the same since he was kidnapped, and what’s worse, there’s a mole hiding in headquarters. Raz must use his powers to stop the mole before they execute their secret plan–to bring the murderous psychic villain, Maligula, back from the dead!

Psychonauts 2 will also support Xbox Play Anywhere which means that the PC and Xbox versions will be cross-buy. You can get either version and claim the other version free. Other features include optimized for the Xbox Series which could suggest a higher frame rate or improved visuals on the current-generation consoles.

Psychonauts 2 currently has no release date but it is confirmed for Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC, in addition to the PS4.
