Rainbow Six Extraction Is The New R6 Quarantine
Ubisoft has revealed Rainbow Six Extraction, it was formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine. The game will be officially revealed on June 12.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine was first shown during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference. It disappeared into development shadows and was never seen again which puzzled fans of the series. It wasn’t until recently that an update for the game was discovered, which assured the fans that the game was still being worked on by Ubisoft.
In a press release sent by Ubisoft today, they have confirmed that Rainbow Six Quarantine is now Rainbow Six Extraction. The new name likely relates to the post-COVID-19 situation when the pandemic devastated the whole world.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is expected to arrive before April 2022. Ubisoft developed the game and was shown with a developer-focused reveal trailer that confirmed the new name. The full announcement and trailer are expected to arrive on June 12 during the Ubisoft Forward event.
