Ratchet and Clank Sequel Rumored To Launch Alongside PS5
Insomniac Games is reportedly working on a brand new Ratchet and Clank game that they will launch alongside Sony’s PlayStation 5.
Insomniac Games was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment last year. They had massive success with Marvel’s Spider-Man, and they are also the developers behind the PlayStation exclusive Ratchet and Clank series. There have been rumors about a sequel to the first game’s reboot being in development although nothing solid has come out of it.

This rumor has now surfaced again from the same source. Colin Moriarty, who has worked at IGN and has shared rumors in the past regarding Sony projects, has talked about a sequel to the game being in development at Insomniac Games.
“We’re going to get a Ratchet and Clank in-between on PlayStation 5,” said Moriarty, who hosts a podcast called Sacred Symbols+. “I feel like that’s going to be a launch game, the Ratchet and Clank game that’s long been in development at Insomniac.”
Insomniac Games is also reportedly working on a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, which shouldn’t come across as a surprise since the first game was selling like hotcakes. It is one of the most successful games for Sony Interactive Entertainment and the story ended with a sequel hook already, so there is no doubt left about it.

As for the Ratchet and Clank sequel, it has also been heavily speculated to be in development although no information has been shared for it. It is possible that the game launches as an exclusive for the PlayStation 5 but this is a rumor for now.
