Redfall Could Launch In May 2023
Bethesda and Arkane Studios Austin’s Redfall could launch sometime during May, 2023, based on the latest rumor.
According to Klobrille, who has had a close eye on many creative first-party studio teams across Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda at Microsoft, Bethesda and Arkane Studios Austin’s Redfall could launch sometime in May, 2023. In response to a post on gaming enthusiast forum Reset Era, which implied that the game may get delayed to Fall, 2023, Klobrille stated that they “May disagree with that”.
The potential launch of Redfall during the month of May, 2023 is in line with Microsoft’s expected release for the game. Earlier in the year, Bethesda announced that both Starfield and Redfall would be delayed to the first half of 2023. It was stated that the teams at Bethesda Game Studios and Arkane Austin have incredible ambitions for their games, and the publisher wished to ensure that both projects receive the best and most polished versions at launch. The publisher thanked its fans for their anticipation of both Starfield and Redfall, and that this is what ultimately inspires the developers working at both studios and drives their own excitement towards their projects.
Redfall is an upcoming first-person shooter video game by Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks. The game is scheduled for release on Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. It is set on the namesake Massachusetts island hamlet of Redfall. A legion of vampires attacked and secluded the town from the outside world after a disastrous scientific experiment.
Players must pick between four survivors — cryptozoologist and inventor Devinder Crousley, telekinetic student Layla Ellison, combat engineer Remi de la Rosa, and supernatural sniper Jacob Boyer — and take out their adversaries, vampires and humans alike, while they are trapped inside Redfall. The first-person shooter features cooperative multiplayer and single-player modes, and is set in an open world.
