Resident Evil 3 Remake Leaked Through PSN Store
Resident Evil 3 Remake has leaked through the official PlayStation Store. Jill and Nemesis’s design has changed to line up with the new visual style.
Capcom has been rumored to be working on a new remake for Resident Evil 3. While no details were confirmed for it, it has been speculated for a while now. According to GamStat, a PSN tracking website that keeps track of all new entries added to PSN, Capcom has uploaded Resident Evil 3 Remake cover to the PlayStation Store.
The leaked listing is for both Western release and a Japan-specific cover. The big reveal is the design of both Jill Valentine and Nemesis that can be spotted on the cover. Carlos is another character that has been featured on the cover. This game is set in Raccoon City, just like Resident Evil 2 Remake.
The difference in art style is due to the new RE Engine which features photo-realistic visuals. Capcom had to do the same with Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 Remake, where they had to cast new motion capture actors as the face of old fan-favorite characters. Chris Redfield has been featured in Resident Evil 7 and had a different character model. Leon and Claire were present in Resident Evil 2 Remake. This is the first time fans have spotted something official for Jill and Carlos along with Nemesis.
