The Resident Evil 4 Remake producer has revealed that the game is in the final phase of development, and that he’s preparing to share more information regarding the game.
Japanese publication Famitsu asked a number of game creators involved in the production of popular games about their aspirations for the year 2023. In his response, Resident Evil 4 Remake producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi stated that he is currently preparing to share more information on the game, and also said that it is in the final phase of development.
Hirabayashi also shared some of his personal goals for the year 2023, which include wanting to improve his camping skill and buying a Steam Deck.
Meanwhile, in his aspirations for the year 2023, Resident Evil Village producer Masachika Kawata shared that he’ll be running about for all sorts of preparations. He asked fan to look forward to what Capcom has in store for them, including new entries in the Resident Evil series.
Previously, it was revealed that the ESRB has given Resident Evil 4 Remake a Mature rating, citing violence, blood, and gore, among other reasons for this decision. There were plenty of moments in the original where Leon is seen meeting his demise in horrific ways including getting his head slashed with a chainsaw. The upcoming Remake, which is more of an overhaul with new content, is likely going to retain this trend and things may appear even more gruesome thanks to the modern visuals.
Resident Evil 4 is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the 2005 game of the same name, and it will be released on March 24, 2023, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows. Players assume control of US agent Leon S. Kennedy, who is on a mission to save Ashley Graham, the president’s daughter, from Los Illuminados, a violent cult that rules over a Spanish village and worships an ancient parasite.
