Previously, details regarding the review embargo for Resident Evil 4 Remake were revealed via Metacritic. According to the aggregator site, the review embargo for the game is expected to end late next week, ahead of the game’s release on March 24, 2023. This would fall in the range of March 16 to March 17, 2023, depending on time zone differences. Fans can look forward to hearing what critics have to say about the remake before grabbing their copies and assuming control of Leon, as he takes on villagers that have been infected by a mind-controlling parasite known as Las Plagas.

Those who have pre-ordered a digital copy of Resident Evil 4 Remake will be able to pre-load it a few days prior to launch. The game has a download size of 67.18 GB on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Additionally, the digital pre-load will come with the latest update i.e. version 1.02 (1.002.000) pre-installed on PS4 and PS5. The update weighs in at 4 GB on PlayStation platforms.
