Resident Evil Village Could Get DLC In The Future, Listed On SteamDB

Capcom has a listing for an unknown DLC for Resident Evil Village that could point towards the game getting new content later down the line.

Resident Evil Village has been out for a while now. The game has also generated a record number of concurrent users becoming the second-best launch for Capcom on Steam with more than 100K users playing it on the debut week. This is behind Monster Hunter World which has been insanely successful so far.

While Village doesn’t appear to have any season pass, there are two unknown DLC entries on the Steam Database. One of these is seven months old and doesn’t appear to link to Resident Evil Village. The other entry is more interesting as it does link to the game and was updated as recently as four months ago.

While these listings do shop up as DLC on Steam Database, we need to keep in mind that they could be some bonus items as well. One of the DLC entries that were added to the Database yesterday appears to be the Resident Evil Village demo.

Another assumption is that this is for Re: Verse, but that carries its own separate entry on Steam. Re: Verse was supposed to launch alongside Village but it was delayed to Summer 2021.

Capcom had included some cut content in the game as seen with the digital artbook. It featured Ada Wong and teased her involvement in Village, but this idea supposedly didn’t make the cut in the final game.

The game is available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
