Apex Legends is not getting regular updates despite the growing popularity of the game. Respawn Entertainment has now addressed the ongoing issues with the game in a blog post detailing their plans for the upcoming updates to the game.
In a post that aimed to clear any confusion among the fans regarding the support of the game, and also assured them of new content, Respawn Entertainment has talked in particular about the bugs that they know fans want to see fixed in the game.

One of the issues that they talked about is “Slow Server Performance at the Beginning of a Match” which they have identified is a major cause of concern and related to data centers. It is a high priority issue that they want to fix as soon as possible.
Other issues that they have identified are related to the Audio. They are testing potential fixes that might resolve the performance problems that are faced by the players. Hit registration was another issue that they are trying to get fixed in time.

Cheating is another thing that has plagued the PC version of Apex Legends. It is part of the package for a popular game and almost every one of them has suffered from cheaters in some way. They are working secretly on updates behind the scenes and will share more information next week.
Respawn has acknowledged that they need to improve communications with the fans. They are also working on getting more thoughtful updates out for each season. Apex Legends will get a season 2 and it will be revealed at EA Play event in June. Every new season will add a new Battle Pass, a new Legend, something new for the meta, and more.
