Retail Listing Suggests GTA 6 Could Include Performance and Quality Modes

A newly discovered retailer listing has sparked fresh discussion about a possible GTA 6 Performance Mode on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

The information appeared on a product page from a Polish retailer before being removed. According to the listing, players on current-generation consoles would be able to choose between two visual presets.

The retailer description stated: “By purchasing the console version, you can be sure that you are getting a product polished down to the smallest detail. GTA VI on next-generation consoles offers two graphics modes to choose from (Performance and Quality), support for DualSense controller features on PS5, providing realistic haptic feedback vibrations, and extremely fast loading screens thanks to the power of SSD storage.”

Because the page has since been deleted, it remains unclear whether the information was published early, supplied by Rockstar Games, or simply added by the retailer in error.

Rockstar has not officially confirmed any graphics modes for Grand Theft Auto VI at the time of writing. The studio has also yet to provide detailed technical information regarding performance targets on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S.

The listing surfaced shortly before GTA 6 pre-orders are expected to open on June 25, a date Rockstar Games has already confirmed. Recent weeks have also seen speculation regarding the game’s pricing, although Rockstar has not announced final pricing details.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Until Rockstar provides official confirmation, the reported Performance and Quality modes should be treated as unverified information.
