Saints Row ESRB Rating Reveals Mature Content Including Nudity and Violence
The Saints Row series is getting a brand new game later this year. ESRB has now rated Saints Row providing an overview of its mature content.
According to the rating published by ESRB, there will be full customization available for the characters. They will be able to customize their appearance including going fully nude in the game with exposed breasts, however, the genitalia will be blurred so it is not as fully uncensored.
The rating also makes mention of the text seen in the game with explicit messages. Overall, this sounds like a Saints Row game by all counts. If you want to check it out yourself, see the rating of the game below.
This is a third-person action game in which players follow the story of a criminal organization’s rise to power in a fictional city. Players explore an open-world environment, engage in combat missions, and battle enemies (e.g., rival gangs, criminal organizations, police forces) for territory and influence. Players use pistols, machine guns, and grenades to kill enemies in frenetic combat. Battles are highlighted by realistic gunfire, large explosions, and cries of pain. Large blood-splatter effects also occur when characters are injured/killed. Players can perform finishing attacks on enemies (e.g., stabbing and/or shooting enemies in the head), and cutscenes sometimes depict characters shot or stabbed. Players can use their cars to strike pedestrians, though this action usually garners more notoriety and attention from police. Text within the game references sexual material (e.g., “I am going to f*st the hell out of you”; “My kink is stepping on bugs during sex”; “My c*ck gives me a +5 stamina”; “I got syphilis once, so now I’m immune.”). Players can customize their characters to appear nude, with exposed breasts and buttocks (genitalia is blurred). During the course of the game, a character is depicted smoking marijuana from a pipe. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” are heard in the game.
Saints Row is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, and Google Stadia as rated by ESRB.
