Bandai Namco has announced that Scarlet Nexus has reached a new sales milestone, with worldwide sales surpassing 2 million units.
The news was shared through the game’s official social media account, where the publisher thanked players for their continued support. “SCARLET NEXUS has surpassed 2 million units worldwide!” the post stated. To commemorate the achievement, Bandai Namco also unveiled a special illustration created by Art Director Kota Ochiai.
The company expressed its appreciation to fans, writing, “Thank you for your ongoing love and support!”
Originally released on June 25, 2021, Scarlet Nexus was developed by Bandai Namco Studios in collaboration with Tose and launched across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The action RPG introduced players to a futuristic world where members of the Other Suppression Force use powerful psychokinetic abilities to combat monstrous creatures known as Others.
The game’s combat system combines traditional melee attacks with telekinetic powers, allowing players to hurl environmental objects at enemies during fast-paced battles. Its anime-inspired presentation, dual-protagonist narrative structure, and science-fiction setting helped it establish a dedicated fanbase following its release.
The latest sales update marks another milestone for the franchise as Bandai Namco continues to celebrate the game’s long-term commercial success nearly five years after its debut. No new announcements regarding the future of the Scarlet Nexus series accompanied the sales milestone.
