Shrek 2 Remastered’s PS5 trophies have appeared online ahead of an official announcement, adding to earlier signs that Aspyr is preparing a remastered version of the 2004 action-adventure game based on DreamWorks Animation’s film.
The game previously surfaced through a listing on the Xbox Store, which revealed several upgrades and new features. The listing describes improved textures, an enhanced user interface, 4K resolution, and updated cutscenes.
The remaster is also set to include Photo Mode and Cheat Mode, along with multiplayer support for up to four players. However, the appearance of the PS5 trophy list does not establish an official release date or confirm when Aspyr will formally announce the project.
Originally released in 2004, Shrek 2 is an action-adventure platformer based on the animated film. Players control characters including Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and Puss in Boots, each with distinct abilities used to solve puzzles and take on enemies.
