by Greg Martin

Sony has shared new details on several previously announced PlayStation accessories, confirming launch windows, pricing, and pre-order dates for the FlexStrike wireless fight stick, the 27-inch Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook, and the upcoming Pulse Elevate wireless speakers.

Leading the announcements is the FlexStrike wireless fight stick, Sony’s first wireless arcade controller designed for PlayStation 5 and PC. The accessory is scheduled to launch globally on August 6, 2026, coinciding with the release window for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Built with competitive players in mind, the controller features a built-in rechargeable battery and includes a sling carry case intended to make transportation to tournaments and events easier.

Pre-orders for FlexStrike will begin on June 12 through direct.playstation.com, where available, and participating retailers. Sony has set a recommended retail price of $199.99, €199.99, £179.99, and ¥34,980.

Sony also confirmed that its new 27-inch Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook will launch in the United States and Japan on August 27, 2026. The display is aimed at players who prefer desktop gaming setups and features a 27-inch QHD IPS panel with a native resolution of 2560×1440.

The monitor supports Variable Refresh Rate technology and can output up to 120Hz when connected to a PS5 or PS5 Pro. Compatible PC and Mac systems can take advantage of refresh rates up to 240Hz. Pre-orders for the display will open on June 5 through direct.playstation.com, Best Buy in the United States, and participating retailers in Japan. Pricing has been set at $349.99 in the U.S. and ¥49,980 in Japan.

The third accessory highlighted by Sony is the Pulse Elevate wireless speaker system. While the company did not provide a specific release date or pricing details, it confirmed the speakers are scheduled to launch later in 2026. Sony says the speakers incorporate technologies found in its Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite headset lineup, with a focus on delivering a more immersive audio experience for desktop gaming setups.

According to Sony, the Pulse Elevate speakers are designed to complement the new gaming monitor and expand its lineup of PlayStation accessories beyond traditional living room entertainment setups. Additional information regarding pricing and pre-orders for the speakers will be announced closer to launch.
