New information regarding Star Wars Eclipse has surfaced online, with leaker FivesWalker claiming that Quantic Dream’s long-awaited Star Wars project remains in active development despite reported challenges behind the scenes.
According to the leaker, “Star Wars Eclipse is very far along, but still has a ways to go.” They also addressed previous reports concerning development difficulties, stating, “The rumors are true about issues between Quantic Dream and Lucasfilm, but the game will absolutely still come out. It still has a very large scope.”
FivesWalker further claimed that the game will feature several playable protagonists whose stories intertwine throughout a larger narrative. “Multiple lead characters you play as with different points of view in a larger grand-scale story,” the leaker said.
Among the alleged protagonists is a young Jedi. According to the description shared by FivesWalker, “One of the leads is a traditional young Jedi. Idealistic, good-hearted, whose limits are tested as he enters into morally questionable and dangerous situations among an unexplored region/nation of the galaxy.”
Another reported lead character is a young woman who is not Force-sensitive. The leaker described her as “a non-Force-sensitive girl, working much like Rey, nearly as an indentured servant on a barren junk planet.” They added that while she is struggling with poverty and hardship, “she’s poor and starved, but not alone like Rey was.”
FivesWalker also shared additional details about the character’s personal story, claiming, “A kind old man, her surrogate grandfather, has taken care of her since she was very little. But now he’s sick, and his illness might just radicalize her into starting a revolution, even if it means going up against Force-sensitives.”
Officially, Star Wars Eclipse remains one of the most mysterious projects currently in development at Quantic Dream. The game was announced as a narrative-driven action-adventure title set during the High Republic era, featuring multiple playable characters and a branching storyline where player choices can significantly influence events. The story is set in a previously unexplored region of the Outer Rim and focuses on political tensions and competing factions.
Neither Quantic Dream nor Lucasfilm Games has commented on the latest claims. As with all unconfirmed reports, these details should be treated as rumor until officially verified by the developers.
