STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT Now Available On Steam

STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is now available on Steam, giving PC players access to the revamped version of the acclaimed visual novel ahead of its console release in October. Spike Chunsoft has also confirmed a launch promotion offering up to 10% off both the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions during the first 2 weeks.

The new release revisits the original STEINS;GATE, which first launched for Xbox 360 in 2009, with completely revamped visuals and additional narrative content. MAGES. is handling development of the updated version.

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the main game alongside a digital art book titled STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT VISUAL COLLECTION, the STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT soundtrack and footage from the STEINS;GATE 15th LIVE ONE WORLD event with English subtitles.

Players who purchase either the Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam will also receive STEINS;GATE Octet of Shifting Space at no additional cost. The bonus title is an adventure game designed in the style of 1980s PC games and is scheduled to become available on Steam on October 29.

The free bonus offer is available until November 30, 2026, although the applicable offer period may vary by region.

STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is also scheduled to launch in North America and Europe on October 29 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be available physically and digitally on Nintendo platforms and PlayStation 5, while the Xbox Series X|S version will be digital only.

The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $79.99. A SteelBook Edition is also planned for $69.99.

STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT is a single-player adventure and visual novel featuring Japanese voice acting and text support for Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. The game is rated Mature by the ESRB.

The Steam version is available now, while the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will follow on October 29, 2026.
