Street Fighter 6 Arjun Joins The Roster On October 13

Street Fighter 6 will add Arjun as its next playable fighter on October 13, 2026, with Capcom releasing a new gameplay trailer showcasing his unique Yoga Breathing techniques. Arjun will be the second character introduced as part of the game’s Year 4 roster and will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Arjun’s fighting style focuses on powerful attacks and recoverable damage, with his Yoga Breathing techniques allowing him to trade speed for strength. His attacks can inflict recoverable damage even when blocked, while his arsenal also includes projectiles and traps designed to control the battlefield.

The character’s story follows his former career as a police officer in India. After his trusted partner was murdered and Arjun was framed for the crime, he went into hiding and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

Several of Arjun’s attacks revolve around his breathing abilities. Arm of Justice is a winding punch with different versions based on attack strength, while Cruel Shoulder lets him charge forward with a shoulder tackle. Breathing Ring creates a ring of air that can be sent toward opponents at different angles using Breathing Shockwave.

Arjun can also manipulate the environment with Divine Pillar, using his breath to raise a column of earth from the ground. The attack’s strength affects how far the pillar appears, while holding the button delays its activation. He can then combine it with Cruel Shoulder through Justice Beyond, grabbing an active pillar and swinging it toward his opponent.

His defensive tools further emphasize recoverable damage. Ghastly Interrogation is a command throw that normally deals only recoverable damage, although it can inflict regular damage if the opponent has already accumulated recoverable damage. Indomitable Defense uses Arjun’s breathing to strengthen his muscles and turn incoming melee attacks into counterattacks.

Moral Breakdown can be performed while Indomitable Defense is active, sending both fists forward to deal recoverable damage when blocked or normal damage when the attack connects.

Arjun’s Super Arts include Howling Destruction, his Level 1 attack that unleashes rapid bursts of his breathing technique, and Instant Oblivion, a Level 2 attack that launches an opponent away and gives Arjun an opportunity to set up Divine Pillar. His Level 3 Super Art, Yaksha’s Order, disrupts the opponent’s inner ear before leading into a cinematic attack.

Arjun will be available to players who own or purchase the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass. He will also have two outfits. Outfit 1 depicts Arjun during his pursuit for vengeance, while Outfit 2 presents an idealized version of the character after he has abandoned his quest for justice. The second outfit can be obtained by maxing out Arjun’s Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or purchased with Fighter Coins.

Arjun is the second fighter planned for Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 lineup. The upcoming roster also includes Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series and Bosch, alongside previously released character Yasmine.

Capcom also confirmed that Street Fighter 6 has surpassed 7 million units sold since its launch. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
