Capcom has released the August 3, 2026 update for Street Fighter 6, delivering a new round of battle balance adjustments aimed at refreshing the competitive meta. Rather than applying universal changes, the update focuses on individual characters to encourage greater variety in playstyles.
The patch also expands Modern Control options by updating selected normal and special moves for certain fighters. In addition, a bug affecting Drive Reversal inputs has been resolved, while detailed character-specific balance adjustments are available on the official website.

- Updated Assisted Combos for certain characters to reflect the Modern Control changes.
- Expanded Modern Control options to provide more choices during neutral play.

Drive Reversal
- Fixed an issue where holding back during an opponent’s Drive Reversal screen freeze could cancel previously entered commands or button inputs.
