Bandai Namco has confirmed that SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada will end its current online service from May 2027, with the development team instead working on an offline version of the game. The new version will allow existing owners to continue playing after the online service ends, although some features that require online access will not be available.
The current online PvPvE format will remain playable until the service termination, while the game will transition into an offline PvE extraction shooter. Bandai Namco has also confirmed that some save data and purchased items from the online version will be transferable to the offline release.
Updates and events for the current online version will continue until the content scheduled for October 2026 has been delivered. The sale of SYN COINS and other paid currency will then end on December 18, 2026 at 00:00 JST. Players who have already purchased currency will be able to use it until the online service ends, although purchased currency expires 150 days after the first launch following its purchase.
A data transfer function for the offline version is planned for December 2026, allowing players to prepare their progress for the transition. Bandai Namco plans to announce the specific end date for the online service in March 2027, with the transition to the offline version scheduled to begin after May 2027.
The publisher has not yet provided the exact timing of the offline version transition or detailed information about which data and purchased items will carry over. Further announcements will provide those details as development continues.
Online play will remain available until the service officially ends, with the development and operations team thanking players for their support of SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada and confirming that work will now focus on delivering its offline version.
