Tekken 8 patch 3.02.01 will be released on August 20, with Bandai Namco confirming that the update will prepare the game for Bob’s Early Access period and introduce several other changes.
The patch will go live at 12:00 AM CEST on August 20, which is 3:00 PM PDT on August 19. Bandai Namco said the update will also correct unintended behaviour and bring changes to content available through the Tekken Shop.
Full patch notes will be published when the update releases, meaning the complete list of gameplay changes is not yet available.
Tekken 8 Servers Will Undergo Maintenance
Bandai Namco will carry out server maintenance before patch 3.02.01 is deployed. Maintenance is scheduled to begin at 11:30 PM CEST on August 19, or 2:30 PM PDT and 6:30 AM JST on August 20.
During the maintenance period, all online content in Tekken 8 will be unavailable.
The update arrives as Tekken 8 continues its third season of post-launch content. Season 3 includes four DLC fighters, with Bob following Kunimitsu and Roger Jr. The season will conclude with Yujiro Hanma from Baki the Grappler.
Bob, whose full name is Robert “Bob” Richards, is returning to the Tekken roster with his trademark combination of speed and power. Players who have purchased the relevant content will be able to access him through Early Access following the new patch.
Bandai Namco is expected to provide further details about patch 3.02.01 once the update becomes available on August 20.
