Bandai Namco has revealed updated lifetime shipment figures for several of its major gaming franchises, confirming that the Tekken series has reached 62.70 million units worldwide. The Tales of series has also surpassed 32 million units, according to the company’s newly published Fact Book 2026 via Install Base.
The figures cover shipments through March 2026, with Tekken’s total dating back to the franchise’s launch in March 1995. The 62.70 million figure includes both home console and PC versions, making Tekken the highest-shipping home console series in Bandai Namco’s list of major titles.
The Tales of series has reached 32.13 million shipments since December 1995, also including PC releases.
Bandai Namco’s report provides lifetime totals for several other franchises. Naruto-related games have shipped 46.58 million units since April 2006, while the Dark Souls series has reached 41.80 million units since September 2011.
However, the Dark Souls figure only covers overseas sales where Bandai Namco Entertainment was the original seller. It does not include domestic Japanese sales handled by FromSoftware, meaning the reported total does not represent all worldwide shipments.
Little Nightmares has reached 24.54 million units since April 2017, including network content, while Super Robot Wars has accumulated 21.33 million shipments since April 1991.
