Rebel Wolves has outlined the full PC system requirements for The Blood of Dawnwalker, offering a clearer picture of the hardware needed across multiple performance targets. The specifications range from modest 1080p setups to demanding configurations aimed at 4K gameplay, with all benchmarks measured without the use of upscaling or frame generation.
At the lower end, players targeting native 1080p at 30 FPS on low settings will need an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X paired with 16 GB of RAM. GPU requirements include an NVIDIA RTX 3050, GTX 1070, AMD RX Vega 56, or Intel Arc A580, alongside 6 GB of VRAM and 60 GB of SSD storage. The game runs on Windows 10 with DirectX 12 support.
For higher fidelity, the recommended tier introduces two configurations. One targets 1080p at 60 FPS on high settings using a CPU such as the Intel Core i5-13600 or AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, combined with an RTX 5060 or RX 6800 XT. The second option scales up to 1440p at 60 FPS, requiring an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7800 XT while maintaining similar CPU and memory requirements.
The ultra preset pushes requirements further, particularly for players aiming at higher resolutions. A 1440p at 60 FPS experience on ultra settings calls for an Intel Core i5-13600K or AMD Ryzen 9 7950X alongside GPUs like the RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX, with 16 GB of VRAM. For native 4K at 60 FPS, the specification lists the RTX 5090 as the target GPU, reflecting a steep jump in graphical demand.
The developer notes that all listed configurations were tested without upscalers such as DLSS or FSR, though both technologies will be supported at launch to help improve performance. It is also clarified that the stated VRAM requirements apply broadly, meaning equivalent GPUs with sufficient memory should deliver comparable results.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy action RPG developed by Rebel Wolves and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is scheduled to release on September 3, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. Set in 14th-century Europe during the Black Death, the game follows Coen, a character caught between humanity and vampirism as a so-called Dawnwalker, navigating a time-limited narrative shaped by player decisions.
