The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Update 1.1.2 Arrives With Multiple Bug Fixes

The Last of Us Part II Remastered has received an update to Patch 1.1.2. The patch focuses on refining gameplay, general aspects, localization, and accessibility features of the game. One of the most notable fixes is related to a gameplay issue where players could not engage in melee during the final combat encounter. This update ensures a smoother and more consistent experience for players. Additional gameplay fixes include resolving a bug in the “No Return” mode where the Trading Post would sometimes offer only three options for purchase, and addressing a scenario where Clickers could become stuck on the environment in certain maps, which could potentially disrupt game progression.

The update also includes general improvements such as fixing an issue related to PS4 save data imports. Previously earned trophies that would not unlock after the import process will now unlock. The patch also rectifies an animation glitch occurring when the player is attacked while entering a workbench, alongside fixing a visual discrepancy where Abby’s bonus skins would cause weapons to appear incorrectly during certain in-game cutscenes. Moreover, the update brings multiple minor fixes to the game’s user interface and audio, enhancing the overall user experience.

The patch has also addressed various minor issues throughout the game, ensuring a more seamless and immersive experience for players across different regions. In terms of accessibility, a notable fix has been implemented in the “No Return” mode to ensure the Text-to-Speech option correctly reads out Leaderboard placements, furthering the game’s commitment to being accessible to a wide range of players.
