The Outer Worlds Has 38 GB Update On Xbox One, 18 GB On PS4, Will Support PS4 Pro

The Outer Worlds has a massive day one update for those who are getting a retail copy on Xbox One or PS4. It will also support the PS4 Pro.

Private Division has confirmed the launch timing for The Outer World for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. They have also revealed that the game will arrive with a massive day one update that is roughly 38 GB on Xbox One and 18 GB on the PS4. This update is around the same size on Xbox One as the full game version which means those who get the retail copy will have to likely download the whole game again.

The Outer Worlds is also confirmed to support the PS4 Pro, contrary to an earlier report regarding it. This means that the game will run at 1440 resolution on the PS4 Pro while it was confirmed that the Xbox One version will support 4K resolution and textures.
