Remedy Entertainment has released Control update 1.04 bringing in Photo Mode support for the game. This patch should be downloadable now.
Control is a third-person shooter from Remedy Entertainment. It is a brand new IP for them that has managed to receive critical acclaim although it failed to make much noise in terms of commercial success. Despite this, Remedy has been quite vigilant in supporting the game.
The new update for Control has patched the game to version 1.04 on PS4. It is also available to download today for Xbox One and PC. The patch is mainly aimed at adding a brand new Photo Mode which has been long requested by fans since the launch of the game.
Photo Mode allows the user to take in-game screenshots while having full freedom of controlling the camera. They can also use a variety of different effects or toggle objects in and out of view. It is like giving a camera inside the world of Control and this has excited the fans.
Control update 1.04 seems to bring in support for Photo Mode. There is a lack of official patch notes for update 1.04. If you want to access the Photo Mode, you need to head over to the Options menu where it can be toggled on and off.
The game launched as an Epic Games Store exclusively which reportedly cost more than 10 million dollars. There were some performance issues with the game that were patched soon by Remedy Entertainment. You can grab it now on PS4, Xbox One, or PC.
Remedy Entertainment has also teased at a new Expeditions mode that will be released in an update later this year. In this mode, “Jesse will need to complete different objectives within a set time to get powerful rewards.”
