Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition appears to be headed to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 after receiving new ratings from the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).
The listing, which has not yet been accompanied by an official announcement, includes PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Windows PC as supported platforms. The remaster originally launched for Xbox Series X|S and PC in June 2025.
The ESRB has assigned the game an M for Mature 17+ rating for Blood and Gore and Intense Violence. The rating summary describes a third-person action game in which players control Captain Titus as he battles an Ork invasion using chainsaw swords, firearms, axes and explosives.
According to the board, combat features “large blood-splatter effects” that can stain the environment, while some attacks result in enemies being decapitated or “bursting into chunks of flesh and viscera.” The summary also notes that some areas depict severed limbs and body parts.
While neither Sega nor developer SneakyBox has confirmed new console versions, the rating suggests an announcement could be imminent.
The listing also follows the recent confirmation that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 during the platform’s Holiday 2026 lineup, making the arrival of the first game’s remaster on Nintendo’s new console a logical addition.
Until an official announcement is made, the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition should be treated as unconfirmed despite the ESRB rating.
