Microsoft has unveiled a fresh wave of Xbox 25th anniversary celebrations, introducing community-created console customisation options, a commemorative profile badge, curated Game Pass collections and the full schedule for its upcoming Xbox FanFest Tour.
As part of the celebration, Xbox has partnered with community creators Klobrille and Ben Kenobi to release a collection of new gamerpics, console backgrounds and a dynamic theme. The free designs are available now across Xbox consoles and the Xbox app on PC, with Microsoft describing them as a tribute created by the community for the community.
Players can also claim a limited-time Xbox 25th Anniversary profile badge by signing into their Xbox account on console, PC or the Xbox mobile app. The badge is available from today and can be displayed on player profiles through the end of 2026, ahead of Xbox’s official 25th anniversary on November 15.
Game Pass subscribers are also getting a nostalgic trip through Xbox history. Microsoft has introduced curated Game Pass collections featuring titles from every Xbox generation, including the original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The collections include games such as Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4 and Psychonauts 2, highlighting franchises that have helped define the platform over the past 25 years.
The company also confirmed the remaining stops for the Xbox FanFest Tour, a global series of community events following its opening appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase earlier this year.
The tour will visit Cologne during gamescom on August 26, Tokyo during Tokyo Game Show on September 17, London on September 26, Mexico City and Sydney on October 17, and Toronto on November 6. Microsoft also confirmed that Seattle will host a future event, with additional details to be announced later.
Microsoft says the latest announcements are part of its ongoing celebration leading up to Xbox’s 25th anniversary on November 15, with more activities planned throughout the year.
