Microsoft’s previously announced Xbox console price increases have now taken effect across Europe and the UK, revealing significantly higher prices than those initially detailed for the US market.
When Microsoft announced the worldwide price changes in June, it confirmed that US prices would increase by $100 for the 512GB Xbox Series S and $150 for 1TB Xbox models. However, the company did not disclose the revised pricing for other regions at the time.
With the changes now in effect from 1 August, updated prices have appeared across Europe and the UK.
In Europe, the new prices are:
- Xbox Series S 512GB: €349.99 to €499.99
- Xbox Series S 1TB: €399.99 to €599.99
- Xbox Series X Digital 1TB: €549.99 to €749.99
- Xbox Series X Disc 1TB: €599.99 to €799.99
In the UK, the updated prices are:
- Xbox Series S 512GB: £299.99 to £429.99
- Xbox Series S 1TB: £349.99 to £519.99
- Xbox Series X Digital 1TB: £449.99 to £619.99
- Xbox Series X Disc 1TB: £499.99 to £669.99
The increases represent substantial jumps across Microsoft’s current console lineup, with some models rising by as much as €200 and £170 depending on the region.
Microsoft announced the global pricing changes earlier this year as part of a broader adjustment to Xbox hardware pricing. The company has not provided any further explanation alongside the regional price updates beyond its original announcement.
