Xbox Game Pass January 2023 Update Adds Stranded Deep & Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition
The January, 2023 update for Xbox Game Pass is around the corner, and it is all set to bring brand new games to the premium catalog.
Microsoft will soon be updating the list of games headed to Xbox Game Pass in wave 1 for the month of January, 2023, as well as the list of games that are leaving the service during this month. The subscription service is starting the month with plenty of games you can look forward to very soon.
Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass In January 2023
While the full list of Game Pass Games for wave 1 of January, 2023, is not yet available, the games that have been confirmed thus far are as follows:
- Stranded Deep (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Back in December, the community social marketing representative for Game Pass, Megan McGamePass, had assured Xbox Game Pass subscribers that she’ll be back with further updates in January, 2023.
Stranded Deep is a survival video game developed and published by Australian studio Beam Team Games for Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Linux. A plane crash survivor encounters some of the most dangerous situations in a procedurally generated world while on an island in the Pacific Ocean. In order to survive, players must find and develop the means to do so while exploring the Pacific islands, reefs, and bottomless ocean trenches.
Mortal Shell Enhanced Edition is the remastered version of an action role-playing video game developed by Cold Symmetry and published by Playstack. It was originally released on August 18, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. The Enhanced Edition was made available on March 4, 2021 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and November 18, 2021, for the Amazon Luna. On December 19, 2022, a port for Nintendo Switch called Complete Edition with all the DLC was also released.
