Microsoft generally removes games from Xbox Game Pass in two waves each month, with departures typically taking place around the 15th and the final day of the month. Titles usually appear in the Leaving Soon section approximately two weeks before their removal.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can use that advance notice to finish games before they leave the catalogue. Members can also purchase departing titles with a membership discount of up to 20%, allowing them to retain access after the games are removed from the service.
