Microsoft has revealed the next wave of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass in May 2026, with a mix of major releases, indie projects, and day one launches joining the subscription service throughout the month. The lineup is led by high profile additions such as Forza Horizon 6, DOOM The Dark Ages, and Subnautica 2, alongside a steady stream of new arrivals across console, PC, and cloud platforms.

Available immediately, Final Fantasy V joins the service across cloud, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC. The classic role playing game marks the start of a busy month that quickly ramps up with several titles arriving on May 6, including Ben 10 Power Trip, Descenders Next, Wheel World, Wildgate, and Wuchang Fallen Feathers. These additions span a range of genres, from action adventure and racing to multiplayer shooters and souls like experiences.

The following week continues the momentum with Mixtape launching on May 7 as a day one release, followed by Outbound on May 11 and Black Jacket and Call of the Elder Gods on May 12. Elite Dangerous also joins the catalog on the same day, offering players a large scale space simulation experience.

Mid May brings some of the most notable additions, including DOOM The Dark Ages on May 14 and Subnautica 2, which arrives in Game Preview on the same day as a day one release. Both titles are expected to draw significant attention, with DOOM exploring a darker, medieval setting and Subnautica 2 introducing a new alien world with cooperative survival gameplay.

Rounding out the month, Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19 as another day one addition to the service. Set in Japan, the latest entry in the racing series features a large open world, a roster of more than 550 cars, and early access beginning May 15 for players who opt for the Premium upgrade.

In addition to new arrivals, Microsoft also highlighted updates for existing titles, including a new content update for Dead by Daylight and seasonal additions for Sea of Thieves. Meanwhile, several games will be leaving the Game Pass library on May 15, including Planet of Lana and Galacticare, giving players limited time to revisit them before their removal.

With a varied selection of releases across genres and multiple day one launches, May 2026 is shaping up to be another active month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
