Bandai Namco has officially revealed Yujiro Hanma as the fourth downloadable character coming to Tekken 8 as part of Season 3 content.
The announcement confirms another major crossover addition for the fighting game, bringing the iconic Baki the Grappler character into the Tekken roster.
Known throughout the Baki franchise as “The Strongest Creature on Earth,” Yujiro Hanma is infamous for overwhelming opponents through sheer physical strength and martial arts mastery. The character is especially recognized for his “Demon Back” transformation and his brutal, emotionless approach to combat.
Tekken 8 Season 3 has largely focused on gameplay adjustments and roster expansion following feedback from the competitive community. Bandai Namco previously positioned the new season as a recalibration of the game’s combat systems after earlier updates introduced mechanics that some players felt pushed the gameplay too far away from traditional Tekken fundamentals.
The current Season 3 roadmap also includes the return of several legacy fighters, including Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. Yujiro now joins the lineup as one of the season’s biggest crossover additions so far.
Bandai Namco has not yet confirmed an exact release date for the character update. Yujiro is planned to join the game as the fourth DLC character in Winter.
