Additional images of the previously leaked Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller packaging have emerged.
Twitter/X user XX_750000 has shared (via content creator Behind the Games) new images of the previously leaked Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller packaging. The controller appears to be part of a set of Zelda 40th anniversary products that includes a Legend of Zelda themed Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The Twitter/X user also shared a second image in which the Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller packaging is seen alongside a concealed object that, according to them, is another Nintendo product he can’t reveal. As seen below, they added a digital ruler to the image to give an idea of its approximate size and scale.

Recently, images of both the Zelda 40th anniversary edition Nintendo Switch 2 and Pro Controller packaging were leaked. Back in March, a rumor suggested that Nintendo would prepare a Legend of Zelda-themed Limited Edition Switch 2 console to coincide with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. The claim came from insider Shpeshal Nick over social media. According to the source, “As a follow up, from what I’ve been told we’re getting a Zelda themed Limited Edition Switch 2 console. Not sure if the game will be bundled or not.”
Last month, game journalist necrolipe mentioned that he had already seen the aforementioned controller, but doesn’t know whether a themed console is also planned. According to him, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Pro Controller design will sport green colored tips, similar to those of the Splatoon themed controller, mixed with gold. The Triforce crest is said to be centered between the – and + buttons.
Nintendo has yet to announce a release date or pre-order details for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. Any themed hardware announcement is expected to happen simultaneously.
